I spent twenty years in operations: producing festivals in Istanbul, running finance and operations at a design studio, then four years at a web3 startup in Lisbon, the last three as COO. Most of what I know about running a company I learned by having to make it work.
This newsletter is where I think out loud about that. How teams decide and execute, how a small company keeps its focus, what the numbers say and how to tell it. Sometimes a framework, sometimes a story of something that worked or didn’t, sometimes what I’m building. AI runs through more of it every year, because it’s changing how the work gets done, and I write about that the same way: from inside the business.
